Cleaning & Care
Caring for your aluminium pet tag
Protect the QR code from strong mechanical impact such as knocks, scratches or abrasion. Also avoid contact with harsh chemicals and prolonged exposure to intense sunlight.
If necessary, clean the pet tag carefully using lukewarm water, mild soap and a soft brush.
Not suitable for washing machines.
Even if the QR code becomes damaged or unreadable, no data will be lost. All information remains securely stored on the DynaTag platform and can easily be linked to a new pet tag.
All information can be viewed, edited and updated at any time through your personal DynaTag account.

The QR code opens your personal DynaTag WebApp containing important information such as contact details, pet identification, health information and a digital noticeboard.
Finders, veterinarians or pet carers can exchange photos and messages there. No app installation is required.
What information can be accessed through the QR code?
The QR code provides direct browser access to the information you choose to share, including:

How secure is my information in the WebApp?
Your information is securely stored on protected servers in Switzerland.
You decide which information is visible when someone scans the QR code.
We recommend sharing sensitive information only when necessary and limiting it to details that are genuinely helpful if your pet is found.
What happens when someone scans the QR code?
After scanning, your personal DynaTag WebApp opens automatically in the smartphone's browser.
The finder does not need an app or a user account and can immediately view the information you have chosen to share.
They can contact you or one of your emergency contacts directly. If they agree, they can also share their current location.
Can I update my pet's information myself?
Yes. You receive access to your personal DynaTag account and can update all stored information yourself at any time.
Changes can be made instantly online using your smartphone, tablet or computer and are immediately available in the WebApp.
Are there any subscription or monthly fees?
No. Your SOS pet tag includes five years of use without any monthly fees or subscription.
After the initial five-year period, access can be extended with a one-time renewal fee.
Can I track my lost pet's location?
No. The SOS pet tag is not a GPS tracker and cannot actively or continuously track your pet.
Only when someone intentionally scans the QR code can they voluntarily share their current location using their smartphone.
Location sharing only takes place with the finder's consent. There is no continuous tracking or monitoring.
