Thanks to the digital keychain with a unique QR code, the key owner can be contacted immediately in an anonymous way—without disclosing any personal contact details. This increases security, ensuring that the owner's data is not made public.
The anonymous and data-protected location sharing makes it easier to arrange a desired handover location. The finder shares their current phone location with the key owner, who can view it on Google Maps.
Especially when house keys are lost, quick contact is crucial. Unlike traditional key return services, the key owner can be contacted immediately via smartphone, and the key handover can often be arranged at the same location within minutes.
No additional app is required for configuration. All data can be updated directly through the web browser (WebApp technology).
How it works:
- Someone finds the lost keys and scans the QR code.
- The owner receives an automatic scan notification via email and knows that someone has found the keys.
- Through a contact form, the finder can provide their name, phone number, and/or email, along with a short message.
- The information is immediately sent to the key owner via email (the finder does not see the owner's email address).
- The key owner can then call the finder to arrange a handover location (e.g., at the supermarket checkout).
- If desired, the finder can also share their current location, sending it via email (in compliance with data protection regulations).
- The key owner retrieves the keys at the agreed location within a short time.
IMPORTANT: An active internet connection is required to access the data and contact information.

Android: Smartphone, Tablet (Chrome Browser)
In the browser menu, select 
"Add to Home screen". Choose a custom name and complete the process by clicking "Add". This will create an icon on your home screen. Just like a native app, you can now easily access your QR code.
Apple: iPhone, iPad (Safari Browser)
In the browser menu next to the address bar, press 
and choose "Add to Home Screen" from the menu. Then, choose a memorable name and finish the process by clicking "Add". This will install a shortcut icon on your home screen.

Protect the printed or engraved QR code from mechanical impacts such as hits, scratches, or abrasion. Avoid contact with chemical substances or strong sunlight. The item can be cleaned with lukewarm water, soap, and a soft brush with gentle pressure.
Not suitable for washing machines.
If the QR code still becomes unreadable, you won’t lose any data! All data and information are securely stored in a data center and can be linked to a new DynaTag product. Additionally, the data can be accessed and updated anytime in your DynaTag or Thync.it customer account.
