Cleaning and care
Clean the tag with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Avoid aggressive cleaning agents, solvents, hard impacts and abrasion.

If the tag is lost or damaged, the data remains on the Swiss DynaTag platform and can be used with a replacement product.

How does the key tag with QR code work?
The tag has an individual QR code. Finders scan it with a smartphone and open a digital key page containing a protected contact form.
Through the form, the finder can send you a message and voluntarily leave a callback number or email address. Your own contact details remain hidden.
What information can the finder see?
The finder sees only the information and cover photo that you have approved for the digital key page.

Does the finder need an app or a user account?
No. The QR code is scanned with the standard smartphone camera and the digital key page opens directly in the browser.
The finder needs neither an app nor registration or a login. Only an active internet connection is required for access.
How am I notified about a scan or message?
When the digital key page is opened, the DynaTag platform automatically sends a scan notification to your registered email address.
If the finder also submits the contact form, you receive their message and any contact details they voluntarily provided. A scan alone does not confirm that the keys have actually been found.
Can the finder share their location?
Yes. The finder can voluntarily share only the current location of their own smartphone.
The location is shared only if the finder actively selects the function and gives explicit consent. You can then open the reported location in Google Maps.
Is the key tag a GPS tracker?
No. The key tag is not a GPS tracker. It contains neither GPS nor a battery and does not continuously track the keys or the owner.
The digital function becomes active only when someone intentionally scans the QR code. Location information can be provided only by the finder and with their explicit consent.
Can I change my details later?
Yes. Through your personal user account, you can update the registered email address, cover photo, information and other settings at any time.
Changes are available on the digital key page immediately after saving. You can edit them by smartphone, tablet or computer.
How is my personal data protected?
Your personal contact details are not shown directly to the finder. Contact takes place through the protected form in the DynaTag WebApp.
The data is stored on the Swiss DynaTag platform. It is neither sold nor analysed for advertising purposes. You decide which information is publicly visible.
Is there a subscription or recurring costs?
No. The purchase price includes 5 years of use of the DynaTag platform. There are no monthly fees and no mandatory subscription.
Once the included usage period has ended, access can be extended if required for a one-time extension fee.
What happens if the tag is lost or damaged?
Your information is not stored on the tag itself and remains available on the Swiss DynaTag platform.
On request, a replacement product can be linked to the same digital key page. You do not need to enter your data again.
