Cleaning and care

Clean the clip when necessary using lukewarm water, mild soap and a soft cloth. Avoid aggressive cleaning agents, solvents and prolonged contact with chemical substances.

Protect the QR code, silicone and magnetic fastener from cuts, scratches, strong impacts and heavy abrasion. Check the QR code regularly to ensure that it remains easy to scan.

The individual QR code opens your personal DynaTag SOS WebApp. The emergency contacts, health information and important notes you have chosen to share can be viewed directly in a smartphone browser.

Which emergency information can be displayed?

You decide which information is visible after the QR code is scanned. Depending on your configuration, the following details can be displayed:

  • Location optionally shared by the person providing assistance

Do people providing assistance need an app or user account?

No. The QR code is scanned using the standard camera or QR scanning function on a smartphone. The DynaTag SOS WebApp opens directly in the browser.

The person providing assistance needs neither an app nor a user account. An active internet connection is required to access the digital information.

What happens when someone scans the QR code?

After scanning, your personal SOS page opens directly in the smartphone browser. First responders, relatives or medical professionals can immediately view the information you have chosen to share.

Depending on your configuration, they can call a contact person directly, read important health information or use the digital noticeboard for photos and messages.

Is the SOS emergency clip a GPS tracker?

No. The SOS emergency clip contains neither GPS nor a battery and does not continuously record its location. No continuous tracking takes place.

After opening the SOS page, a person providing assistance can voluntarily share their current location. The location is shared only if they actively use this function and explicitly give their consent.

Can I change my emergency information at any time?

Yes. Through your personal user account, you can update emergency contacts, health information, personal details, images and important notes at any time.

Changes are available through the WebApp as soon as they are saved. You can edit your information using a smartphone, tablet or computer.

How secure is my personal information?

Data protection and privacy are top priorities at DynaTag. Your information is stored securely on the Swiss DynaTag data platform.

You decide which details are visible after scanning. Please note, however, that anyone with access to the QR code or a shared link can view the information you have chosen to share. Information that has not been shared remains protected.

Your data is neither sold nor analysed for advertising purposes.

What should I know about the magnetic fastener?

The clip contains magnets. People with a pacemaker, implanted defibrillator or another magnet-sensitive medical implant should keep at least 15 cm between the clip and the implant and should not wear the clip in the chest area.

You should also follow the instructions provided by the implant manufacturer or your healthcare professional.

Is there a subscription or any ongoing costs?

No. The purchase price includes 5 years of use of the DynaTag platform. There are no monthly fees and no mandatory subscription.

After the included period has ended, access can be extended if required for a one-time renewal fee.

What happens if the clip is lost or damaged?

Your data is not stored on the clip; it remains on the Swiss DynaTag platform. A lost or damaged clip therefore does not result in the loss of your saved information.

On request, a replacement product can be linked to your existing digital SOS page. Your information does not need to be entered again.
